Jute is a truly versatile fiber. Its silky texture, high tensile strength, and resistance to heat and weather provides numerous applications. Jute netting is biodegradable, usually disappearing within one to two years. Since it is made from plants, it is one of the most widely used fibers and is one of the most dependable and proven erosion products.
Jute has the mechanical strength necessary to hold soil in place and promote the growth of new vegetation on all types of slopes (landfill slopes, drainage slopes, road slopes, and backyard slopes). Jute netting proves to be very effective in retaining moisture and contouring to soil surface irregularities. It fertilizes and stablilizes surface soil on slopes.
Smolder resistant jute (treated jute) is also available in brown and green.
Whether your store needs a pallet or a truckload of jute netting, An-Wil is ready to help.
