Description

The function of the coir logs is very similar to rice straw wattles except they are used to solve the most severe erosion control problems, such as problems involving steep slopes and high velocity flow channels. Most coir logs last for four to eight years, allowing vegetation to establish.

Coir logs are biodegradable and made of natural coconut fiber. They can absorb water up to four times their weight.
